Infectious diseases do not occur in isolation, nor do their long-term consequences. Climate change, environmental exposures, housing, healthcare access, biology, and social conditions all shape who becomes ill, who recovers, and who develops ongoing symptoms
and chronic disease.

My research explores these interconnected pathways to better understand infection-associated chronic conditions and identify opportunities for prevention, resilience, and more equitable public health action.
